This clip was when we were remembering, with the horses, the realisation that the world created by our mind is not real. This question arose out of the wish to open more pathways for our integration as humans. So we can discriminate less, and accept our differences more. In bringing this intention into a space of listening, we were reminded that mind-made concepts are not necessary. They don’t exist in the space of the open moment. Mind made concepts include judgment, concern, figuring out, desire to change and even awaken those other than ourselves.
So many beautiful reflections are coming through in our podcast that it feels important to give them extra space and emphasis here. To start with I would like to reiterate the intention of Lets Talk Herd, and of Soul Herd, which will help us to stay true to the vibrational channel of the horse collective.
As we continue to explore the different aspects of awakening in the horses’ presence, a familiar issue has arisen in my mind. How do we appreciate the awakened state of mind without judging the unawakened? I feel that so far in our discussions, we have stayed clear of this perpetual human rut. There is a light of authentic truth that continues to shine through our words and feelings .
Since we have been travelling through light years of being-ness, the essential nature of reality has both created us and been created by us. The simplicity in which we present ourselves here is an opportunity for you, our friends, to see beyond or not, without judgment.
We can be grazing animals for you, gentle and powerful and easily conditioned or we can be sages with you, multi-layered and multi-dimensional. Together holding space for and attuning to the highest wisdom.
Both of these realities are true, and interchangeable.
Horses have an ability, together with most of Nature, to maintain balance emotionally. Even when we leave our centre, we can return as easily as a heavy bottomed object rights itself.
Our balanced state can be described in many ways. It is abundance as well as appreciation. It is calmness as well as potential. Alignment might be the best way to define it.
When we are in our centre, we are in alignment with our vaster self, our soul, so we see through eyes of love, and feel the unlimited greatness of our heart.
Sabina explains her weekly awakening transmissions from Nature consciousness and we discuss our place in Nature as humans. The parallels with riding and the way our relationship with our horses is a microcosm of the whole of our lives.
Interpretation with Dawn Oakley-Smith is a three part exploration of communication with horses and ultimately ourselves. Where we are in the horse world in our holistic and spiritual awakening and recognising unhappiness in horses. We talked about the complications that can arise when interpreting what we think horses are saying. Finally, Dawn described the fascinating workshops she has been developing throughout her life with horses. Dawn has also worked with the charity Key4Life, taking horses into prisons in the UK. As well as writing an inspirational book, the Empowered Herd.
The work I do now with my Herd, is a result of my own personal unfolding. My spirituality and Horse are the same thing. In what I write here, please understand there is no judgment intended. It is an illustration of one person’s understanding of their evolution with horses. As soon as I had the consciousness to know what horses were, I yearned for them. It was as if I already knew what they would smell like, how they would feel, how it would be to be carried on their backs. My heart beat was the sound of hooves; in the wind I felt the whip of mane across my face.
We love it when the humans come us without a project in their minds. There is an openness in the space between us. We can breathe it in. When we can breathe, we relax. So we can share whatever is happening right now between us. Then it is okay for us to do something together, it might be fun.
